The OMP One-D 2 is an ultra-lightweight 6-point harness suitable for single-seater (formula) cars. Engineered to provide the ultimate in safety and weight reduction the harness is constructed using 2" wide Dyneema webbing which is 40% lighter and 15% stronger than traditional harness webbing.
OMP Dyneema harnesses represent the pinnacle of seat belt technology. Dyneema is the strongest fibre in the world and coupled with forged aluminium adjusters and billet aluminium/magnesium buckle results in an incredibly strong harness. The increase in strength does not come with a weight penalty, the opposite in fact. OMP Dyneema harnesses are typically 40% lighter than harnesses made with traditional materials.
The attachment is via sewn loops for the shoulder straps and bolt-in fittings for the lap and crutch straps.
