The latest V3 version of the popular Tech 1-T race boot from Alpinestars now complies with the latest FIA 8856-2018 homologation for increased heat and flame protection. The boots have been carefully re-designed to keep weight to a minimum without compromising performance, comfort, or safety.
The full-grain leather upper includes perforation zones for increased ventilation and an outer toe protector for improved comfort and durability. The Alpinestars exclusive multi-compound one-piece toe and heel counter features an ergonomic polypropylene heel counter with an integrated insole for optimum foot support, stability and protection. A new collar with an elastic rear section and nitrile rubber padding combined with perforated padding on the tongue provides superb levels of comfort and a cut-away heel section allows for smooth movement between the pedals with no pressure points which helps reduce fatigue. The new, exclusive thin rubber sole offers superb levels of sensitivity on the pedals and the ‘tire tread’ pattern ensures optimal levels of grip. The dual closure system incorporates traditional lacing with hidden loops and hook and loop strap for a secure yet comfortable fit.
