This high-performance and ergonomic rib protection from Alpinestars is designed to provide comfort, support, and protection for karters. Slimline and lightweight in design the main body of the rib protector features a multi-layer construction for ultimate shock absorption with a soft poly lining.
Dual density laminated padding incorporating 3mm high-density padding in areas that contact the body provides high levels of comfort whilst 4mm EVA foam offers effective impact protection and reduced vibration. A fiberglass core is used to disperse energy away from the impact point and an advanced poly-fabric outer protects against abrasion. A Fully adjustable, elasticated front strap with snap closure and adjustable shoulder straps allow for a precise fit whilst additional rear Velcro adjusters help refine size adjustments. Perforated padding in the rear offers extra support and breathability for increased comfort.
